Big News Alert! Welcoming Gary Blok, Our New Principal Engineer to 2Pint Software

We’re beyond excited...although a bit late, to announce the legendary man behind GARYTOWN as the newest member of the 2Pint Software family, welcome Gary Blok! If you don’t know him already, you’ve probably been living under a rock (or maybe just not attending all the cool tech events). 😎

As well-known community rockstar —you’ve seen him at the local user group meetups, OSD days, and basically everywhere cool tech things are happening. He’s also a prolific blogger at GARYTOWN, sharing all the techy insights we love. On top of that, he’s a key contributor to the Community OSDCloud project, pushing the limits of automation and OS deployment like a pro.

But that’s not all! In his “spare time” (because apparently, he’s superhuman), he runs computer refurbishment ministry at his local church.🌟 He takes old PCs from community businesses, refurbishes them, and gifts them to families in need or local non-profits. How awesome is that?! This totally aligns with 2Pint’s mission of giving back—especially to government, education, and non-profit sectors. We’re all about community love, and Gary clearly fits right in. ❤️

Now a bit of his tech résumé, Gary joins us from HP. Over the years he has built strong relationships with OEMs and has hands-on experience in sectors such as K-12 Education, Higher Education, Government, and the private sector working for companies such as Wells Fargo. Basically, he’s seen it all—and understands the struggles of making magic happen in IT, especially in schools where you’re asked to do everything with next-to-nothing. We’re confident his unique experience will help us better serve all sectors, especially those facing tough challenges.

What are we most pumped about? Well, Gary brings a crazy amount of experience and knowledge in the end-to-end ecosystem, automation, Modern systems management, and OS deployment. His hands-on experience will enhance our capabilities and further our mission to empower organizations with amazing solutions.

On the personal side, Gary is a family man through and through with the most wonderful family of 8 children and a new baby on the way. He has a love for LEGO, seriously who doesn’t in our tech world...oh no, I see LEGOPhil having competition, perhaps we will build the next ‘GARYTRON’!. He is also a mega fan of Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings. Yes, people—he’s fluent in both Jedi and Elvish. We're calling his move to 2Pint the arrival of the GARYTOWN bus (no offense to IBM, but this one’s cooler).
