Welcome to the September edition of our blog roundup! Each month, we highlight our 2Pint Software team’s industry-leading insights into OS deployment, network and bandwidth optimization, and modern content delivery. In this edition we have some great blogs from Johan and Gary, a webinar on throttling hosted by Andreas and Johan, a recap of WPNinjas Summit 2025 in Baden, Switzerland (where we celebrated 10 years one last time with our European friends! 🥳 🎂 🎉), and a company offsite and send off for Phil …. Let’s dive in!
In the second week of September, Andreas Hammarskjöld and Johan Arwidmark hosted an in-depth webinar on managing bandwidth and optimizing content delivery across on-premises and cloud environments for today's hyprid IT landscape. If you missed the webinar and want to learn more about tackling these issues with StifleR, our cutting-edge product designed for throttling and peer-to-peer file distribution, you can watch the webinar recording on our YouTube channel.
Always generous with advice, Johan Arwidmark is at it again with a great blog on how to quickly and easily refresh a lab or classroom using ConfigMGR (SCCM). Johan walks through using a refresh Task Sequence built with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) to reset fleets of PCs in a classroom or lab environment. He describes a full “Computer Refresh” scenario involving multiple steps:
    - Booting into WinPE
- Applying a fresh Windows 11 24H2 image
- Installing drivers and clients
- Deploying required apps

If you manage IT at a postsecondary institution, you’ll want to bookmark Johan’s guide. And if you teach in a computer lab at a post-secondary institution and have felt the joy of kicking off lab instruction only to see student hands fly up to inform you that their computer doesn’t work, you may want to share a link with your friendly IT support contact.🙋🏾♂️🖥️🙋🏻♀️🖥️🙋🏼♂️🖥️
On GaryTown.com, Gary Blok describes how he’s been incorporating Visual Studio Code and Git into his Operating System Deployment (OSD) automation workflow. He explains how a PowerShell step installs VS Code during a task sequence and uses Git for version control of deployment scripts and modules. Scripted automation, version control, and reproducibility are crucial for scaling image and endpoint management workflows. Gary's posted links to download the scripts, so head over to his blog and grab them.
Mike Terrill and Gary Blok have been hard at work on support videos to guide users in setting up prerequisites and installing 2Pint Software products. In September, they finished up two iPXE Anywhere videos. Go to the iPXE Anywhere product page to watch the videos and learn more about our powerful network booting software.
The biggest event of the month was WP Ninjas Summit in Baden, where a big group of 2Pinters gathered for 2Pint Phil’s last event and connect with the community to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary.

Our experts shared their extensive knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Intune, disaster recovery, modern content deployment and management, and Delivery Optimization.
Michael Niehaus held the big crowd captive with his expertise in Windows Autopilot.

Ranjith Lewis, Mike Terrill and Michael Niehaus covered various aspects of recovery planning and scenarios for organizations, and Mike Terrill explained Black Lotus for Intune administrators in a packed presentation room.

There was tremendous excitement for our next-generation OS deployment tool, DeployR...

...and after Phil closed out his conference career with a last go at Delivery Optimization optimization alongside Mattias Benninge, the WP Ninjas team gave Phil a send off complete with a tribute video produced by Fabian Olbrecht of AnimatedReal.

The rest of the 2Pint crew met up with the conference team and travelled to Colmar, France and a company offsite for meetings, team building, fine dining and good cheer. Day one festivities included a medieval pentathlon of sorts: a timed log-sawing race, horseshoes, tangram puzzles, and other team challenges, all set in the misty courtyard of Château du Hohlandsbourg, followed by dinner and live music.
Day two's events began at the nearby Maison Cattin winery where we were tasked with a whole new set of challenges including building a barrel, creating a wine label, identifying wines by taste, and matching winery photos to countries. The event concluded with a hilarious waiter's obstacle relay race run with blurry goggles on. We carried the laughter and fun in to a celebratory lunch and wine talk overlooking the Rhine valley. Following a late afternoon walking tour of beautiful and historic Colmar, the group gathered in town for a dinner to toast Phil and 2Pint Software's future.

It was a fantastic chance to connect with colleagues and send Phil off with a proper, final goodbye including a collage to remember the rest of us and his productive years at 2Pint by.

On behalf of Andreas, Michelle, and all the rest of us: have a truly wonderful retirement Phil. We'll miss you!🍻🎉🥂
